Workshop and Professional Development Available

Workshops Listed below are a sampling of Workshop Topics Available.  Each workshop is designed to last 4 hours.  However, all workshops can be tailored to meet your time needs and those of your teachers.  In addition to individual workshops, Beth Anne is available as a Curriculum Consultant for the team of music teachers in your School District.  

"Where Do I Begin?" 
Strategies for Choosing and Teaching Choral Music to your Emerging Singers

In this workshop participants will explore the vast repertoire for their upper elementary and middle school  choral singers.   They will learn about Kodaly-inspired strategies in a  choral setting that will enhance the musicianship of their singers.   We will discuss choral score analysis, and how that analysis can focus your long term planning and enhance your daily rehearsal plans.

Explore and experience a Kodály-Inspired Classroom in Action.  Participants will come away with songs, games and activities that they can use in their classrooms immediately.
